a series of stories that i had done from her city, her home city back in 2008 and remembered them all and remember them with incredible detail. she said you did fine, you got the news, but there's so much more. you missed a lot. you could've gotten a lot more, and i couldn't agree more. as a journalist i go to these different places, you go to cover dramatic and developing news, but the most important thing i think is to go back and to get a deeper sense of the store and try to understand what's really going on in a complicated place. >> and you feel you got the deeper sense of the story? >> i got a deeper sense of the story but this is an unbelievably complicated place. that's one of the reasons why i try to lay her back -- peel back the layers. when you think about, like the old saying like there's 7 million stories of the naked city. if you go to a city in the developing world and there's 13 or 15 or 20 million, it's a complicated place. it's a place that often seemed completely nonsensical into you get there, and then you're totally in scarfed in and when you go away can't it seem

murdered his girlfriend, shot her nine times and killed himself. brad underwood has more from kansas city. good morning, brad. >> good morning, it has been an emotional high and low in the last couple of days in kansas city. they are continuing to learn more about the events leading up with the incident with javon and his girlfriend casandra perkins and what will happen to zoe. javon's mother the raise the three month old in long island. funeral arrangements haven't been made for casandra or javon. the first thing out of the head coach's mouth. thoughts and prayers going out to both families. javon a starter of the kansas city chiefs and his girlfriend was active in the organization as well and finding out more about the head injuries. stemming from a argument that happened friday night as casandra came home late from a concert. he shot her four times and then came here and took his life . continuing what will happen in the next coming days. they have not made funeral arrangements for javon or casandra. >> brian: thank you . the owner of the teams he had no history of concussions . the ot

patient whose mother took her from a children's hospital last weekend. doctors really say this this little girl could be running out of time. rick folbaum is live in our new york city newsroom with more. >> police say the girl could die in a matter of days unless she is found and taken back to a hospital for treatment. her name is emily bracamonte, she is 11 years old, she has been getting chemo to treat her leukemia for the past month. there have been complications, she developed an infection. doctors had to amputate part of one of her arms and insert a catheter into her heart. she apparently had that catheter in when for some reason her mother norm a removed the iv. dressed her in street clothes and walked her out of the front door of the hospital last wednesday night. the catheter is the biggest certain for doctors. leaving it in too long could lead to another infection, one that could kill her they say. the girl and her mother are american citizens, the girl's mother, louis bracamonte is mexican. he has a green card. neither parent is charged with a crime at this point. police are anxi
